Process to get divorce and child custody

Hello, I'm 36 yr old working in a pvt Bank and my wife is house wife. I have a daughter age 4 yrs. Can I get divorce from my wife and I want my girls custody so is it possible?? Is it compulsory to pay any money to her if I get divorce?? Religion - Hindu-Maratha

Hello Good Morning, In this scenario yes you can get the Divorce and your daughter custody. their are two types of Divorce that you can file. first one is Contested Divorce and Second one is Mutual Consent Divorce . You can ask your wife firstly if ashe is ready for divorce if yes you both can file mutual consent divorce by settling down maintaince or alimony amount amicably Since you have daughter who is below 6 years of age her custody shall lie with her mother subject to other conditions
