Hindu girl married a muslim boy during 2007 (love marriage). Girl filed a case against “Grihahimsa act” during 2014 since the boy was torturing /manhandling. Now she left the place and staying somewhere for her livelyhood with her son aged 4 years. Now police constable informed her to attend the court during middle of the April 2016. In this connection please clarify the following: Is it mandatory to her to attend the court? Whether she can request for alternate date to attend the court ? If she is not attend the court what will happen to the case ? If she lost case because of no

The hindu girl can file a special vakalat through her lawyer and the lawyer can attend the court on behalf of her client.
the girl might need to go to the court only when absolutely required.
not attending the case or not filing a special vakalat will result in the case being thrown out
