26-Jul-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I got married on 3.2.2017 after 15 days of marriage I came to know that my wife is Pregnant. Her Parents wanted abortion I was into conflict with this issue with my wife's family as I wanted the child. My father in law took her from my home to their own residence and didn't allow me to interact with my wife then took my wife to a tantrik. My wife's family mentally ,financially ,verbal assaulted ,blackmailed and threatened me and when I went to take back my wife from her father's residence I was into an attempt of murder by assassination I went to High court made writ petition to get my wife back. My wife's family appealed at high court by lawyer stated that I am jobless and I tortured my wife for being pregnant and in fear that she may file in 498A I have filled writ petition in high court Her given statements are false I have material evidence. The high court hasn't issue any decisions what can I do further? I now seek divorce. Can I go to media Will it affect my career ?

You need to know what is the status of your case and before which court and in accordance your lawyer should mention the matter before the said court stating the urgency involved. By going to the media depends on your state of affairs in respect of your profession and familial situation. You can also file an application for nullity or divorce.

There are steps that you have taken a bit wrong or you have not disclosed in your query.

Did you file a general diary when your father in law forcefully took your wife back home for getting abortion done. Did you take your wife for medical examination. You have to file a case of restitution of conjugal rights in the district court plus a case against against your father in law for murdsring your child in your wife's womb and abortion in India is punishable. If required tantric if needed a FIR be lodged and get him arrested he will speak up everything if can be put behind lock up or jail. Detailed discussion is necessary.

First of all, in my opinion, there is no point making this a media hype.
Secondly, you can file a divorce petition, but to prevent your wife from filing 498A, lodge an FIR in local P.S. station how your in laws threatened you
