Permanent alimony to wife and 11 yerar old boy child

13-Jun-2025 (In Divorce Law)
Dear Sir, my husband filed a divorce petition which was dismissed by the lower court, and my RCR was allowed. He appealed to the High Court, which granted him divorce and referred the matter back to the trial court for deciding permanent alimony. I approached the Supreme Court, and now it's in the final hearing stage. My lawyer says the judges may not be in my favour and that I must fight for alimony again in the lower court. Will SC not decide alimony?

Dear Madam, The Supreme Court may not decide the alimony unless the judgment of High Court with a finding that matter was remanded back to the Trial Court for deciding permanent alimony, is set aside. You may try your level best to convince the Trial Court to grant permanent alimony as per the orders of the High Court.
