Well, That depends upon the type of Offence committed, whether it is a Compoundable one or Non Compoundable ? Hope, you understand, what I am trying to say. If the Offence is Non Compounds, then the parties cannot settle the case, even if the application under Section 340 of CRPC is Withdrawn
