Payment after maintenance order

Once the order is passed, is it advisable for husband to wait for the notice or immediately start paying the maintenance?
Dear Sir,
You should not pay maintenance immediately. Let the Court issue warrant against you. Even then you need not pay entire arrears of maintenance. If you pay like that then your wife may concentrate on getting maintenance and never proceed with the case. Have patience and get final orders.
