Hi, She is crysome, quarrelsome, and always threatens me of suicide along with my 4 year old Daughter. She shows no mercy to my parents as well.I have been relocated to Bangalore just to get out of that environment. But still the same, She hit me today and abused my parents in front of me and threatened me to suicide along with my 4 year daughter. She is also 6 Months expecting. She always take the things other way round as she wants to think and always back biting my Parents. I am fed up living this miserable life. Please tell me what can be done. Moreover she says that She doesn't have anyone to look after her If I divorce her alone? I am confused FYI...I didnot take any Dowry as she comes from a poor family. .

This looks more like a medical problem rather than looking at from legal point of view. She needs consultation with a psychiatrist and only upon taking review from an expert psychiatrist probably you can think of your action from the legal point of view if she has any mental disorder which cannot rectified. The mental status is analysed as suicidal tendency which cannot controlled unless she is treated by counselling. Legally i can suggest you that you can lodge police complaint whenever she hits you to keep the record straight. However, your problem is required to be analysed by one to one discussion and it cannot be answered in few lines in this forum.

Immediately a case can be filed before family court and can get rid of her by getting divorce from the court.

Sir, u don't want divorce and if you u still wants to continue the marriage , you can give complaints against your wife but collect evidence nice of all the things like her harrasing you, there is good hidden camera and video recording if her acts like betting are shouting, even recording her talks of black mailing you of suicide, after collecting evidence you can approach a lawyer they will guide you how to act further according to your case.
