My lawyer has given information about my case to opposite lawyer

11-May-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Dear Sir/Madam; I have filed a divorce case in gautham budh nagar district court in Sept 2016. Notice has been issued to respondent in Nov 2016. But acknowledgement has not come to Court. We showed court the online delivery details, but Court has not accepted it. Every time case has post phoned by two months. In may 2017, respondent lawyer has called my lawyer to know case details. My lawyer has informed him clearly all the details about case and next hearing date, etc. Then respondent lawyer has come to court to file vakalat and asked court to postphone case for 2 month 16 days. My lawyer has not responded to him for this long time delay. My lawyer was helping him (respondent lawyer) in the court hall for submission of formalities. What should i if my lawyer has cooperating opposite lawyer and not helping me.

Sir/Madam
I may not be necessary that your lawyer has connived with the other lawyer. In the event of non appearance of the party and to save the service of summons again and again on the other party your lawyer must have asked the other lawyer to put in appearance. Even otherwise the lawyer of the other party for some reasons could not put up appearance and inquired from your lawyer about the date so that he may appear in the court. Please make sure before forming any adverse opinion against your lawyer that he is behaving against your interest. in that case you may chane your lawyer.

Dear client, there is relationship of trust between lawyer and client. So if you don't believe ur advocate then you can change him any time. In divorce case it is always trick of respondant to delay the proceedings so as to delay relief prayed by you
