Respected ma'am, in order to save your marriage, I would suggest you file a case for nullity of second marriage solemnised by your husband. You need a plan and you need to do it quick before he makes a move. You are welcome to consult me in this regard.

Dear Ma’am, If you’re certain that your husband is going to file for the divorce against you for the purpose of remarrying and you do not wish to be separated. Then you need to contest the divorce Petition before the Court of Law and also apply for RCR.

Hello, If a Christian husband converts to Islam and remarries in Saudi Arabia without divorcing his first wife, the legal actions that can be taken depend on the jurisdiction: 1. In India (or countries where bigamy is prohibited): Under the Indian Penal Code (Section 494), bigamy is a criminal offense for non-Muslims. If the first marriage was conducted under Christian law or the Special Marriage Act, the wife can file a criminal complaint for bigamy. Conversion does not automatically dissolve the first marriage, so the husband’s second marriage may be considered illegal under Indian law. 2. In Saudi Arabia: Islamic law allows men to marry multiple wives, but if the man is still considered married under his previous legal system (i.e., if the first marriage has not been legally dissolved), there could be legal consequences based on the wife’s nationality and the laws of her home country. 3. Civil Remedies: The first wife can also seek civil remedies, such as maintenance, alimony, or a judicial separation in her home country. In summary, the wife can pursue legal remedies based on the laws of the country where the first marriage took place. Advocate Jayatee Chatterjee
