My father died. She will get property share?

02-Jul-2024 (In Divorce Law)
My wife filed sec9 and I filed sec13 1ia. Court counseling failed. No kids. She was working women before our separation. I have private job. No properties on my name. My father and mother had properties. Recently my father died. Now my wife will get a share on my father property. The property still not changed to my name. How to avoid to not get that property to her?

Hello your brief is very limited and not providing complete information to opine on this. is there any will of your father where he had given the property to her? you should get a varisan certificate first and that will carry wife son and daughter of the deceased. your wife have a right on your property not the property your father has built. however she can claim right in your share of ancestral property if you are enjoying your some share. hope this is of help to you
