Considering 10 years of marriage, 4 years separation, unemployment, mental cruelty, and your financial contributions, you have strong grounds for divorce and permanent alimony. A one-time settlement of ₹40–60 lakhs is reasonable in mutual consent divorce, subject to proof and negotiation.

It’s when both husband and wife agree to: End the marriage peacefully Settle all issues at once (alimony, maintenance, child expenses, property, stridhan, etc.) After this, no future claims can be made by either side. What is “One-Time Settlement”? Also called lump sum alimony. It means: A fixed amount is paid once (not monthly) After payment, no maintenance/claims in future

There is no yardstick to seek as and by way of one time settlement. If you want to opt for a mutual consenting divorce then you need to demand an amount which would be reasonable and can be paid by the husband. Feel free to contact me for seeking any legal advice/ assistance as regards the same.

Hello sir, initially you don't need to pay her anything, the grounds for desertion, leaving you and your family amounts to cruelty, so if she left you and has not filed any cases against you, you can easily give her legal notice and file for divorce after the divorce she cannot claim any of the maintenance or alimony , but you need to act fast getting a divorce will also take 1-2 years depending upon the area and jurisdiction, also she can file domestic violence case against you, if you want to settle 10-15 lakhs are enough for her
