dear You can file for mutual consent divorce in Itarasi, Madhya Pradesh, even if your marriage is not registered. The court recognizes marriages conducted according to Hindu rites as valid, regardless of registration status. Both parties must agree to the divorce and have been living separately for at least one year. You will need to submit supporting documents, such as the marriage card and photographs, with your petition. The process typically takes 6 to 18 months, and it is advisable to draft a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) covering key issues like alimony and child custody before filing. your advocate adv.
