Mutual concent divorce and child Custody

I got married on Jan 2023. We have child 4 month old. I want to end marriage mutually because of mother in law influence. and husband is ready to take child Custody. However I am in doubt if his family will allow him to take baby's responsibility. I am thinking about giving up baby for adoption as an alternative to get out of marriage. What legal options are possible to get rid of this marriage without wasting each other's time?

Well, you cannot give the child for adoption without your Hubby and his family's consent. However, when you put this option before them : That you want Divorce and you will neither take care of the child, nor nurture him,do not want to take up the child's responsibility and offering the child for adoption, then, your Hubby's family including Husband will seek the Child's Custody from your end.
