Mental harassment from my parents and family to get married

I'm in love with someone I'm 26 and he is 30 but my parents and my uncle and everyone are brainwashing me to leave him just because he is a muslim and my uncle is mentally harassing me to leave him nd i should think about their happiness more than mine and he is pushing me to get married to a guy who I don't like at all I told them to talk to him once but they are like no and my uncle is threating to harm my bf since the time he got to know about him with my mom

Well legally, no one can stop you from getting married with him, as both of you are 18 + and mature! You can get married in Court along with three Witnesses or before the concerned Registrar of Marriages under Special Marriage Act after seeking Police Protection from Court!

Every adult has the fundamental right to choose their life partner, irrespective of religion, under Article 21 of the Constitution (Right to Life and Personal Liberty). Your uncle or family cannot force you into marriage or harass you for your personal choices. If your uncle is threatening or mentally harassing you or your boyfriend, this may amount to criminal intimidation (Section 503 IPC) and harassment. You may file a police complaint or seek protection from the local authorities. You can also approach the court for protection under Article 226 by filing a writ petition in the High Court. Forced marriage is illegal, and any attempt to marry you off without your consent is a violation of your rights.
