In a mutual consent divorce, articles and gold are typically handed over at the time of signing the consent terms and recording statements before the court. Once she signs the consent terms and takes her belongings, the chances of her backing out are significantly reduced, as these terms are legally binding. However, the process is only final once the court passes the decree. If you feel the mediation counselor is biased, you can raise this concern before the court. Visiting rights can be clearly defined in the terms to ensure your terms are met with minimal interference in your life.
