Married for 8 years. What is the procedure for divorce?

07-Nov-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I have been married for 7-8 years now. I want to divorce my wife on grounds of adultery. What is the procedure for doing the same? We have a kid of 4 years. How can get his custody or meeting rights?

Sir,
In order to prove adultery strong evidence are required. further the person's name, and details are requried as he will be party for the same. you have not specified any details regarding the same. Still I suggest you contact a lawyer share the details and later on you can initate the divorce proceedings. Further you can also seek custody of the kid in same petition.

Initially you must issue a legal notice and must inform the said fact in writing to local police to safeguard your interest but mind it well for adultery you need to have a very strong evidence otherwise it may cause u a great hardship.after issuance of notice you can simply file divorce petition before concerned jurisdiction. So far as visiting rights you can ask for custody and alternativly also pray for the same which normally gets allowed.
