Married 4 years ago but never lived with him, what is the validity?

I was married for almost 4years, but we had never lived together and he choose t move to another city with his mother and left me fend myself, My so called husband cheated on me 2 1/2 years ago, we never met or see each other after that. He had cheated me financially and betrayed me. i did not know what to do. Hence i do not want to be married to him whatsoever. It is alright for me to get married to someone else without a divorce or would the the marriage becomes null and void? and how should i all the financial obligations transferred to his name without any hassle.As i want to be married soon because I'm aged.
Hello, you can apply for divorce, you wil get and if you want financial support, you can approach the Court by filing Maintenance case before the court, where you are staying now? You can get maintenance.

You cannot marry again without giving divorce to your present husband as getting married to another person without divorce is illegal and your second marriage will be void ab initio. File for divorce in the jurisdictional family court where you are living presently on the ground of desertion. No problem,first of all you have to seperate from him legally, then only you can get marriage otherwise you are liable for punishment under adaltry, so you can proceed for Divorce and you have to forget about the amount which you're stranded.
