Your matter involves clear coercion, fraud and criminal intimidation on their side. If they forced you to sign a private agreement under threat and extracted money as so-called “permanent alimony”, such conduct is illegal and unenforceable. An annulment petition based on false allegations of a prior marriage amounts to perjury and abuse of the Court process. Now come to Your legal remedies: 1. File a recovery suit seeking refund of the amount paid under coercion + interest. 2. Proceed with criminal charges – Cheating & Criminal Intimidation (Sections 417, 420, 503 IPC). 3. Seek action for Defamation for alleging a fake prior marriage. 4. File a counterclaim in the annulment case for harassment and mental cruelty. Very Important to you too : Do not accept annulment or any settlement under pressure. Once annulled, they may deny every commitment including the money taken from you. 2. Proceed with criminal charges – Cheating & Criminal Intimidation (Sections 417, 420, 503 IPC). You have a very strong case, provided you preserve payment proofs, messages and all evidence of coercion. I can assist you in initiating recovery and criminal proceedings immediately.

two separate issues here — the false allegation of prior marriage and the money you already paid under the private agreement. If the agreement was made under coercion or fraud, and now the other side has violated it by filing an annulment case, File a recovery suit to reclaim the amount already paid as alimony, since the agreement has been breached by them. You can also lodge a police complaint for criminal intimidation
