My salary is 40K & Husband 1.5 lakh/month. Husband evicted me from home & filed divorce. I read the recent judgement of Delhi Court: Estranged working wife also entitled to maintenance, 24 June 2015..
Also I read in article that women are entitled for free legal aid as per Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987.
1. So, If I earns sufficient income 40K, But being a women, Will court grant me free legal service.
2. Can I ask for maintenance even if I am working? If Yes, under which act DV, sec125 Cr, HMA.
You should file for divorce and Dv both together to create an immense pressure on the other party! The law for women is more powerful then that for the male! it depends upon the pressure you create on both the parties!

Dear client free legal aid is available only for below poverty line women. Second thing as u r working so u r not entitle for maintenance.
