maintenance against father in law

I am file the dv case against my husband interim maintenance order allow trail court but suddenly my husband death in car accident can i take maintenance from my father in law under dav act

I would rather advice you to claim property and belongings of your husband because after the death of your husband the things belong to you as well. so you can claim those things from your father in law

if you have mentioned his name in the petition then you can ask for maintenance, also you can claim the share of your husband in the ancestral property , bank accounts etc , you have to file a partition suit to claim the property.
