Maintainance case getting extended.

Hi I hope, I get accurate info as it is very important.
My spouse has filed a case seeking maintenance in 2023 where as, so far there has been no progress in the case, and the petitioner's lawyer is purposely extending the case in the name of evidence but so far they have just submitted the wedding photos, and wedding card as evidence and nothing else. My Lawyer says we cannot do anything except appealing for their requests. I am literally being harassed for no reason. Please suggest next move
Dear Sir,
Normally, the maintenance cases are to be disposed off within six months. Due to various reasons same are not disposed. You may go to High Court and get a direction to the Trial Court to dispose of your case within next two to four months and the Trial Court Judge is suppose to dispose the same within a time bound period which may be fixed by High Court.
