my wife had made certain commitments and assurances regarding our married life, but subsequently, she did not follow through with those commitments. After the marriage, she has also not been staying with me and has been living separately. I would therefore like to understand my legal rights and the appropriate legal course of action in this situation. At this stage, my primary requirement is an advocate who can properly understand the facts of my case, communicate with my wife’s advocate, and discuss the matter with them in an attempt to resolve the dispute legally and amicably, if possible. I would like the advocate to review the relevant documents and circumstances, communicate with the other side’s advocate on my behalf, and advise me regarding the further legal proceedings that may be required. If any advocate is experienced in matrimonial and family-law matters and is available to take up such a matter, please contact me and let me know your professional consultation and representation fees.

If your wife has left the matrimonial home without a valid reason and broke pre-marital promises, you can legally file for Restitution of Conjugal Rights to request her return, or use her desertion as legal grounds to seek a divorce if reconciliation isn't possible. I strongly advise engaging an advocate to initiate formal communication with her legal counsel; a lawyer can effectively negotiate terms on your behalf, help protect your legal standing, and guide you toward either an amicable settlement or the appropriate legal proceedings. You can connect with me through this platform so we can review your specific details and determine the best approach for your case.

If your wife made false commitments before marriage and you are now facing a matrimonial dispute, you should first preserve all evidence relating to the alleged commitments, including messages, emails, photographs, documents and any other records showing what was represented before the marriage. The legal remedy will depend on the nature of the commitment, whether it was material to the marriage, and what evidence is available. Depending on the facts, the matter may be relevant in divorce proceedings and, in appropriate circumstances, other legal proceedings may also be considered. Please send the relevant documents, chats and other evidence on WhatsApp for detailed examination. After reviewing the material, the appropriate legal grounds and the proper course of action can be advised.
