02-Jan-2024 (In Divorce Law)
Me and my husband separated.. I want to have joint physical custody.. but my husband refuses.. he says he needs sole custody... I'm not ready for that... how to make him accept for joint physical custody.. 2week kids with me and 2 weeks with him.. we are living in 8 kms radius so travelling to school is not an issue

hi alocious here, I can well understand your concern from your query, joint custody of the children is an available proviso of the law since there is no consensus between the patents you can file application to the court from your side and request the same, further, the husband cannot get the absolute custody of the children, since the children being girls. you can contact me for further clarifications, thank you

You can file a petition for permanent custody. Explain your case as to how your kids will get better life and environment with you than your husband. As they are kids the chances are high in your favor. Also file petition of maintenance.
