Is it Mandatory to disclose marital status in PCC application

I have filled for PCC application, and I had mentioned my marital status over their but that needed some more additional documents, and my wife has filed 498a fir against me and charge sheet has not been filed yet through Police. I am planning for another PCC by mentioning that I am single, in my PCC and Visa application will it impact in getting PCC and VISA if get caught in martial status what would be the consequences. Please reply ASAP
