Is divorce certificate necessary for applying for passport

i am a muslim ,according to muslim act a lady can take divorce (khula)on stamp papers with notary and attestation ,by that notary papers can i apply for passport because in our religion divorce certificate is issued after three months

In addition you should also submit an affidavit that your marital status is single.
