In laws demanding money what evidences to prove dowry harassment

My in-laws are demanding money from me & my family. I refused & now they are stating they are going for a divorce will divorce be granted without mutual consent? How long will the divorce process take? I want to live with my husband , but the in-laws & husband are not accepting me. I have send certain call recordings of my in-laws to my husband , but he is supporting them only. I need to live with him, what shall be done? Both in-laws are in government service , will call recordings & whatsapp chat be accepted as proof in court? what are the evidences accepted to prove dowry harassment

In the scenario as stated, evidence need not be a problem; whatever has happened as stated constitute evidence. This could be proved by your own oral evidence. Electronic evidence could be corroborative evidence, however such evidence needs to be proved through original data.

Have you brought to the notice of your parents and other elders?

So also, if things are going out of hand you may bring the matters to the notice of the official superiors as they are in Government service; their behaviour towards you amounts to misconduct.
