In Ecourt application I don't want to show my name.

03-Feb-2026 (In Divorce Law)

In Ecourt application: 1. In Dowry case my name is showing but wife name is not mentioned 2. In maintainance case there is Xxxx shown in both places. (I unable to search via name, only reference no. Use to track) In future wife feels safe when her name is not published publically but what about me. Can I remove my name also from that e-court app same as Xxxx to hide from public. I feel very shameful that my whole family name was there and her name and family is hidden. Is there any way?

dowry case me agr f.i.r hoti h to ladki ka naam nhi rahta hai state versus XYZ likha jata hai,aur unka naam hide rahta h ,agr aapka case ,settlement ho jata hai,ya pura case quash hota h to aap judgement ki certified copy lekr jayenge police station waha se aapka naam online hta diya jayega ,

However, you do have a limited remedy. You can file an application before the concerned court requesting that your name also be masked in the online records. You will need to explain: • Risk to your reputation or safety • Misuse of your details online • That the case is still under trial and allegations are not proven The court has discretion. In some cases, courts have directed masking of both parties’ identities in online portals, especially in sensitive matrimonial disputes. Keep in mind: even if online records are masked, official court files will still carry full names. Only public display may be restricted. Speak to your advocate about filing a privacy/masking request application before the trial court or High Court.

yes in the ecourt the name is published you can use it the name can be removed also then you won't be deemed to be defamed your wife's also then the ecourt will be checked and your name can be erased from the dowry case
