In Divorce cases - can GPA holder and petitioner can sign in petition
20-Jul-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Am not appointed the advocate in divorce case and please advice in petition can we both make the signature either only a GPA holder or petitioner can sign.
Dear Sir,
If your represented by GPA then he alone can sign the documents and petitions. If you wish to conduct the case by yourself as party in person then you have to withdraw GPA. Further in Family cases it is not mandatory to hire advocates. The service of advocate is necessary only when you feel there are some legal questions are involved.
