Yes, you can file contested divorce even if you do not have “hard proofs” like documents/photos. Your personal testimony is evidence, and you can also rely on circumstantial proof such as separation for 7 years, messages/call records, witnesses, etc. Grounds can include cruelty/desertion (as applicable under your personal law). You can also explore Mutual Consent Divorce if both agree—it is faster and simpler. Aadhaar/ration card alone are not sufficient; you will need basic documents like marriage proof (certificate/photos/invite), address proof, and separation details. Filing is done through family court; certain courts allow e-filing/online filing of petitions, but personal appearance is usually required at stages. Court fee is nominal; advocate fee varies case to case based on complexity. Consult a local family lawyer with details for exact fee and drafting.

Yes, you can file a contested divorce even if you do not have strong documentary proof. Divorce cases are decided based on facts, circumstances, and oral evidence, not only documents. Since you have been separated for seven years, that period of separation itself can be an important ground depending on your personal law. Aadhaar and ration card are only identity and address proof; they are not proof of marriage issues. Court fee is usually nominal (varies by state), but advocate fees differ. Divorce cannot be fully applied online; the petition must be filed in the Family Court having jurisdiction over your residence or last matrimonial home. It is advisable to consult a lawyer to assess proper grounds before filing
