your wife appears in your divorce case or not and if not appearing then after your evidence then after 2 -3 months , court can grant you an exparte divorce without appearance of your wife in your case. For more details and clarity you can contact us too

Section 142 in Supreme Court is not a practical option at your stage. The right strategy is to handle her DV/maintenance case strongly and push your divorce case with proper evidence—this can put pressure and lead to a favorable outcome.

Sir, As you have already stated that you filed a divorce petition. If your wife is not ready then you must contest it on merits and the role of Advocate comes here. An Advocate needs to study your case extensively before giving you a proper remedy and also we need to study the filed divorce petition. In matrimonial disputes, consultation session is very important. So consultation is necessary for giving proper advice. As regards your query regarding the petition under section 142 in the Honorable supreme court, we need to study the case extensively.
