Please visit the Family Court or contact a lawyer to find out if the case is really registered and find out the details - u can also find out if any order has been passed against you already. Instead of waiting for the notice, you can go on your own to the court and ask for some time to prepare for the case.

Sir, you have not confirmed that the notice is legal notice or it is court notice. If is legal notice, you have to receive it and give reply notice properly. If it is court notice refused to receive, then it is deemed to be service of notice, therefore court can pass an order of ex-party to proceeds further. You better contact to advocate.

You can attend the court on the said date of hearing because you came to know about it through your wife and the same she will mention in the court if you don't attend. Sometimes it becomes delay in serving the summons and you will receive it also. Engage advocate to attend case.

Dear sir,
It's means, she has filed petition for divorce, you can wait to fit court notice or you can appear through your Advocate, if she has given wrong address, court may make you ex party and pass an order in favor of your wife, it is better to appear before court.
