I am working in USA as h1b and I am seperated for 4 years

Hi, I am seperated from my wife for 4 years and am working from US from 2022. Now she is in India and I am in USA. She doesnt want to stay with me nor does she wants to give divorce. There was a settlement made between both of us and when we thought all is good, she said she doesnt have to agree what was all told in settlement and was staying at her parents home.
I heard that I can file divorce in USA and send notice to her from there.
If I can file divorce from there, what value can it add?
