I am married to my aunt's daughter. We have been married for 2 months, but I am not happy in the marriage. She is currently a month pregnant. I have heard that our marriage is not valid under Hindu law because we are too closely related. What are the implications of this for our marriage? What is the procedure for divorce?

Yes your marriage with your aunts daughter comes within the prohibited degrees of relationship but it is valid according to some Hindus customs and usages. according to Certain sects' custom and usages this kind of marriage is permitted and not invalid. The remedy is provided as per the wish of the client
