Husband tortures me everyday but in court he was ready to live with me

my husband filed case against me in Hindu marriage Act.he tried to get indirect divorce from me.In front of court, he told that" he was ready to live with me".but he is torturing everyday.he scold me bad words with rowdy people and warns that"if you came to court,i kill u". What to do now?
Dont be afraid of your husband's threats. You can lodge a complaint with the local police about his threatens and criminal intimidation though he may be a locally influenced person. If the police is not cooperating or responding properly with appropriate legal actions against him, you may approach the district higher police official with an application seeking direction to the local police to initiate proper legal action on your complaint pending before them. Even if that is not effective you may file a private complaint with the local judicial magistrate court under section 156(3) of cr.p.c. seeking direction to police for proper action on your complaint.
Further you may file a complaint with the Social welfare department seeking protection for your life against the criminal assaults by your husband under the provisions of protection of women from domestic violence act, 2005.
In addition you can also file a maintenance petition under section 125 cr.p.c. which will pressurise him from not indulging in criminal activities against you.
Take the help of a local advocate and proceed as per his further advise.

Approach 'All women police station' and file a complaint. If possible, record the tortures being endured by you and submit to the police. If they fail to act upon, seek Court (Magistrate) intervention by filing a private complaint.

You can approach the Police station. Secondly you can file a case under Domestic Violence act, woman harrassment act. If he is very cruel and abusive, call up 100 The police emergency help. The Police will immediately come to your house and catch him red handed and criminal case will be booked under him. The same records can be produced before the divorce case. He is forcing you to seek divorce before the Court of law.
