Husband drink and staying separate since 2.5 years what action to take

Hi i want to know abt mutual divorce its 5 yrs of marriage n my husband didnt cm to tk me n my child after i delivered nw my daughter is 2.5yrs he doesn't gv any money nor he is worried about us . inlaws are very bad hav brainwashed him n are not supportive . he drinks .always changes job n is irresponsible what action to take its not acceptable this Kind of attitude and behaviour he needs to understand legally .

You may opt for divorce, however you have to decide whether you need only simple divorce or you need maintenance and alimony from him. If you go for simple divorce you may get it easily until and unless he wants to harass you. And if you want alimony and maintenance you have to contest the case carefully and you have to satisfy the court that you don't have any source of income and you desperately need maintenance for basic survival.
