Hi
Pursuant to the demise of your husband, you and your child are the legal heirs of all of the properties of your husband. FIrst get a legal heir certificate and then file a case for succession of properties belonging to your husband. it will cost you a small percentage of your husband's property it is worth it.
Also your inlaw's are duty bound to maintain you and both you and your child are eligible to get a share in their properties too. so file a partition case on their properties too.
