Husband did not turn on first court date for a divorce case

I have recently filed a divorce case against my husband through legal aid services. On the first court date, he did not appear. What will be the consequences of this?

hello there, you have filed your case through free legal aid service, you are supposed to ask such questions from your counsel. anyways, if your husband not appearing on hearings, court may proceed exparte against him
