Husband Abandoned Me and Fled to Canada, FIR Filed but Police Delaying
23-Sep-2024 (In Divorce Law)
My husband has abandoned me and our minor son and fled to Canada without providing any support. My in-laws are also not supporting us. I have already lodged an FIR under Sections 377, 498A, 323, 294(b), and 114, but the police are delaying the investigation. They are not filing the chargesheet, giving vague excuses such as the officer being on leave or being busy with visits from the Home Minister and Prime Minister. No lookout notice has been issued against my husband yet.
kindly trust your elected representatives and write to them with documented proofs that police actions are lacking conviction, dedication and promptness. Alternatively, write to the minister of co-ordination, Union Govt of India, to look into the matter and do the needful. they'll contact Canadian embassy as well, to serve the trial warrant, in case the chargesheet is filed. Thanks for reaching out!
