how to recover jewellery given to bride

this question is on behalf to a groom, where the bride has filled a divorce case. She has been absconding with all the jewelleries given to her during the wedding, and now she is asking huge alimony. Please suggest under which Section of Hindu Marriage this can be recovered?

the question that arises before the court is that whether all those jewelleries belong to your wife. if you say that jewellery was given to her at the time of marriage then it forms the part of her streedhan and it cannot be claimed back. and if it doesn't fall within streedhan then the court sees what actions you have taken against it
