How to proceed with divorce during Pandemic - Divorce in Kerala

My friend's husband is in UAE and she is in Chennai, applied for divorce in Kerala (marriage registration also in Kerala. Given the pandemic, no travel is possible. Could they separate online? It is of mutual consent. Religion: Hinduism. They have missed two court dates already. Married for approximately 4 years now.
