Court case files are part of judicial records. Accessing them without court permission or without being an authorised party violates court rules and can attract penalties under: Indian Penal Code, Section 379 (theft of documents) Section 409 (criminal breach of trust) if done by a court staff member Contempt of Court if it interferes with judicial process Even court staff are bound by strict rules; leaking copies without proper order can lead to suspension or criminal action.
