how to get my husband parents property to me

I filed sec9 and my husband filed sec 13 1ia. No kids. My husband working as software job. No properties on his name. I am also working women. My husband parents had properties. How to get the share on that properties if I go for alimony? If my parents died without writing will shall I get the property share?
