How to get divorce is husband is not ready to give divorce

I've been suffering from last 9 yrs of marriage. After 3yrs of Marta, he went to study for 2 yrs leaving me alone in an unknown city. But as I was working, I couldn't move. He has a habit of drinking With friends frequently . We both are in reputed jobs. Have been staying in hyd since 2014. I've a two year old son. He has taken loan out n my gold many times to clear his credit card . My IN laws have never taken care of my son. It's only my parents who are taking care of my son as m working. My husband doesn't want to divorce as I am into govt job.
