How to forfeit a case filed in Manitnencae High Court

30-Jan-2023 (In Divorce Law)
The property was in joint ownership between me and my husband. I had got a decision from the family court in my favour in which i was given access to one room in my husbands house and no maintenance. I was aggrieved and I appealed before the High Court. Now the situation is such that the appeal is pending and my husband is seriously unwell and there is no certainty of his survival. His sister is taking care of him and she wants a share in his property, what can i do now to ensure that i get a share in the property

Need more clarity as you begin with saying joint ownership then later written one room in husband's house, is it one or two different property? If joint ownership your share is safe. You can withdraw your appeal filed in HighCourt. Discuss in detail with your advocate.

Dear Sir,
With reference to your queries following are the suggestion:
1. being a joint owner you have all right to claim for share of your ownership in your husband's property.
2. your sister-in-law have no right in your husband's property.
3. you can approach the high court for urgent hearing of your case.
