Hi! I have to file for divorce from my husband. I want to know the procedure and my legal options. how much will this whole process cost me?
On what ground you want divorce and which religion you and your husband belong to? Are you a working woman? Do you have children? The grounds on which one can obtain divorce are cruelty adultery or desertion. If he agrees to a mutual consent divorce it's hassle free and good for both of you. Maintenance/alimony will depend on the financial status of the parties considering the fact whether you are a working woman or not. If there are children the custody issues will have to be decided.

Query- You have to file divorce petition from your husband.
Answer- First of all is he ready to take divorce by mutually. If not then we have to file divorce in family court. Then notice will issued to him through court. Afterwards he will b appear & matter proceed further
