How to avoid alimony or maintenance due to divorce

Hi My wife left me around 1 and a half year back and now she has filed a case against me and my family We have a 2 and a half year old daughter My salary is 1.5 lacs per month and her salary is 70 thousand per month What will be the maintenance and alimony , I need to pay to her. Can she also ask for property ( i have a join family and house is with the name of my grand father, should my grand father expel me from the will)
Alimony in a case depends on the entire facts and circumstances of a case. Since your wife is already earning money, the quantum of alimony would get reduced or can even be nil if its proved by you that she has sufficient means to support herself.
