It's been endured continuous mental abuse and harassment from their MIL since engagement.They demanded excessive dowry, created chaos during the wedding, and has been verbally abusive and critical of me in every aspect.My husband is unsupportive as he remains indifferent or sides with his mother. They view me as a household worker rather than a family member.The situation broke when the MIL informed my parents tht his son doesn't want to stay in the marriage.
hi you could file petition in court for domestic violence mentally and physically and for harassement and case for demanding dowry and could seek court order to not to harass further and seek compensation
