How much amount as maintenance can I claim from my husband

My husband left me (2006) 10 years ago, along with 2 child,boy(now17) and girl(now16).The institution which he left kept me on temp basis on salary 1700(in contract).(While leaving he filed a divorce case).I got informed about the case in 2008 from newspaper's ad, I filed maintenance case in 2008. I am now earning less than 17,000(in contract basis not prrmanrnt),while he earns around 60k or more (not sure).He has also taken some house loan to show less income.The divorce case he filed got merged with the maintenance case he again filed divorce case.its been 21 years of marriage.He is a gov employee. I want to know how much maintenance can I expect for my children and me.if I take divorce ,how much money will i get and what amount of property.Isn't my case taking too long?(2008-16).What else can be done?.With the money I earn I have no future insurance of my kids and me.My son will be major soon. If an alimony is settled ,how much should I ask? Please answer all the question.
Dear client generally u can ask 50 % of his monthly income as maintenance. If u would preferred for one time settlement then ask amount near about 30 lakhs. If he have ancestral property then u can ask share in property in the name of kids. For any legal help call me

2008-16 is a huge period of time for pendency of your cases.
It is advised that you both should go for meditation, wherein you both can decide entire issue amicably.
Issues regarding maintenance and other expenses may be determined during mediation.

u have file the case on behalf of ur daughter u/s. 125 of cr.p.c for maintenance... against ur husband...
and stated that for education, medical, hostel rent, food, cloth, miscellaneous .etc
ur son 17yrs after 1 yrs pass he is major means he is not entitle for claiming maintenance but he is claiming ancestral property share.
ur daughter 16yrs. and she is claiming before her marriage.
and u have file interim application u/s 24 of HM act in the divorce petition and claiming son daughter and ur miscellaneous maintenance...
u r eligible for claiming near about 15k to 20k for monthly maintenance.
as future alimony....

U may get 30 k maintenance for your self and 10 k for your kids. If you want permanent alimony that is one time settlement amount then it could be 30 lakh or depend up on his capacity to pay. Regards.
