How much alimony my mother can get in a divorce matter

My grandfather has two houses and my mother and father are now taking divorce can my father give my grandfather's property to my mother as alimony

The alimony completely depends upon the facts and circumstances of the case.Its not based on how many properties have someone acquired.Therefore alimony is husband created provision for wife in terms of maintenance after separation Therefore it can be any figure depending on what one's paying capacity is and has nothing to do with properties.

Hello

Your father cannot transfer the title of the house to anyone if he (father) does not have title in it. However, as per the Hindu Succession Act, you have a right in your grandfathers property by inheritance.
