How can i recover my alimony money.

I am Hindu and got married in traditional arrange marriage. but got divorce within 1 year of marriage due to his abusive behavior. My ex attended only 1 hearing and disappeared. the court ordered divorce and permanent alimony. i got my divorce 6 years back but not received any alimony money till now. i have been attending court hearing all these years but not able to find him also i have no idea on his property details to file a case.
If you know where your husband is working his salary could be attached in lieu of alimony awarded. But it is better to find the details of the property owned by him. It is the most effective way to recove the awarded sum.
